Tetris Perfume Bottle
User Persona Project
CHALLENGE
Design a perfume bottle that directly reflects the personality and lifestyle of a defined user persona. The product should communicate both form and feeling, embodying visual elegance while offering a functional, differentiated experience.
INSIGHTS/NEeds
The target persona was a stylish, career-focused individual who also seeks adventure and variety in everyday life. I envisioned the creation of a dual-scent product—one scent calming and refined, the other energetic and bold—that could match mood and context without compromise.

INITIAL THINKING & SKETCHES
Early sketching radically different ideas ranging from simple shapes to bottles with multiple inlays, but none felt intuitive or clean. I shifted toward a cleaner concept: two separate forms that connect physically and conceptually, like puzzle pieces. Quick mockups helped define proportions, tactile feel, and how users would interact with each piece.

PROTOTYPING
I explored foam models to solidify a design path. My decision led to exploring interlocking geometries and user interaction. The breakthrough came in simplifying the concept to two distinct yet compatible bottles, each holding a different scent. Orange represented energy and spice; green stood for calm and sophistication. Iteration focused on refining fit, comfort in hand, and the visual balance between the two forms.
